Welcome to Kepsec AI ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Because our service provides personalized astrological readings, divination tools, and private AI chat, we collect specific data (such as birth details, profile information, and conversation content) to deliver the experience you request. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what controls you have over your data.
2. Information We Collect
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on or use our application (including via Telegram). This includes:
- Profile Data: Name, email address, account identifier, and Apple, Google, or Telegram identity information when you choose one of those sign-in methods.
- Astrological Data: Date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth provided by you to calculate astrological charts.
- Conversation & Reading Data: Chat transcripts, reading inputs, generated readings, saved memories, and diary entries created during your interactions with Kepsec AI.
- Account & Security Data: Login credentials, session tokens, and optional PIN or authentication metadata used to secure your account.
- Device & Notification Data: Push notification tokens, locale, timezone, app version, and basic diagnostics needed to operate the service reliably.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect or receive to:
- Deliver Services: Calculate your astrological transits, generate tarot readings, and provide personalized AI conversations.
- Process Payments: If you purchase a premium subscription or paid feature, billing is handled by our payment partners (such as Telegram Stars, Apple, or Lemon Squeezy, depending on platform). We do not store raw credit card numbers.
- AI Processing: When you request an AI feature, we securely transmit the prompt and only the profile, birth, reading, or conversation context needed to answer that request to our AI service providers, currently DeepSeek and OpenRouter. These providers process the data on our behalf to generate the requested response and support service quality and safety; they may not use it for third-party advertising.
- Operate & Improve the Product: We use limited operational data to keep the service stable, detect abuse, and improve quality and safety.
4. Your Controls
We provide self-service controls in the app for major privacy actions. Depending on your account state, you can:
- Export your data: Profile → Export Data
- Delete your account and associated data: Profile → Delete Account & All Data
- Manage subscriptions: Use the purchase platform or contact support.
- Withdraw AI-processing consent: Stop using AI reading/chat features and contact support to request deletion, or delete your account and associated content in the app.
5. Retention and Service Providers
We retain account and user-created content while your account is active and only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. Account deletion removes or de-identifies associated data from active systems, subject to limited legal, security, and backup retention periods.
Service providers supporting hosting, databases, authentication, AI processing, App Store payments, notifications, email, support, and diagnostics receive only the data needed for their role and must protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.
6. Your CCPA Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information under the CCPA. You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. You also have the right to request the deletion of your personal information.
We do not "sell" your personal information to third parties.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Our services are heavily restricted to users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can delete that information.
